AMANDA REYES is a collaborative pianist, educator, and founder of Happy Hands Music based in San Francisco, California. Through her work as both a performer and teacher, she is dedicated to creating meaningful musical experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and lifelong appreciation for music. With a background spanning solo performance, collaborative piano, music education, and music business, Ms. Reyes brings a multifaceted perspective to her artistry and teaching.
Ms. Reyes received her early classical training from Dr. Irina Prilipko-Morgan, Mr. John McCarthy, and Mrs. Kai Chi Zhu before continuing her studies at the collegiate level. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a minor in Music Industry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she studied with Inna Faliks and David Kaplan. She later received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Music Business from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Dr. Timothy Bach and served as a graduate assistant in the collaborative piano department.
As an active collaborative pianist and educator, Ms. Reyes continues to perform throughout the Bay Area and engage with the broader music community through collaborations with fellow musicians and educators. Her diverse training allows her to approach music with both artistic depth and practical understanding, helping students develop technical proficiency while discovering their own musical voice.
